Synopsis of what I'm doing in my thriller opening

The 2 minute opening will open up with an extreme close up shot of one of my main characters (the mother of the lost child) with their eyes closed. After that, the camera will slowly zoom out (reverse zoom) in slight slow motion and during that period of time the character will open their eyes. When the character opens the eyes calm piano music will start then playing then the camera will stop zooming when the frame finally becomes a mid-shot of the character smiling and waving. This will be then be a clear eye line match which would be represented by the next shot being of a little boy smiling and waving back, which is also when the voiceover will start.
The music will increase in tempo and that’s when the title sequence will begin, which will go in the order of the director, producer, main characters and finally the movie title. During this title sequences, we will hear a voice over of the female talking about her love and close bond with her son, this being paired with flashback scenes (represented by being in soft focus) and scenes of their current holiday. In each of these scenes you can see a strange image of what appears to be a man dressed in all back in the background (to add suspicion and mystery – thriller convention).

Nearer to the end of the opening, we will be introduced to a scene similar to the beginning, but this time when the mother has eye line match with her son he is not there and the title ‘CHILD 27’ is there instead.
